Old Vintages
These wines come from our library and have been temperature controlled, but the humidity has, unfortunately, compromised some of the labels. We check the ullage and the condition of the capsule but make no guarantees that the wine is perfect. If you purchase one that turns out to be corked or otherwise undrinkable, please let us know and we'll see what we can do.
In all cases, you should expect the characteristics of long-aged wine. The Chardonnays will have a dark gold colour and rich aromas of toasted bread, hazelnut and flavours of caramel, butterscotch with a rich umami. The reds will likely have a brick-red colour with aromas and flavours of stewed plums and prune with a touch of cigar box, forest floor and umami. These will be interesting wines that you'll want to share with others.
